What is Prozac (Fluoxetine)?

Prozac (Fluoxetine) is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression or mood disturbances, anxiety, eating disorders, or obsessive or compulsive symptoms. Prozac is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, panic disorder, and bulimia (binge eating and purging).
What is Nexium (Esomeprazole)?

Nexium (Esomeprazole) is in a proton pump inhibitor (PPIs) which blocks the production of acid by the stomach. It works by decreasing the amount of acid made in the stomach. Nexium is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which backward flow of acid from the stomach causes heartburn and injury of the esophagus (food pipe between the mouth and stomach).

How Taken

Take by mouth, with water, as directed. Depending on your condition and response to therapy, future doses of this medication may be necessary.


Drug Class and Mechanism

Stromectol (Ivermectin) is a semisynthetic, anthelmintic agent for oral administration. Ivermectin is derived from the avermectins, a class of highly active broad-spectrum, anti-parasitic agents isolated from the fermentation products of Streptomyces avermitilis.


Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of Zyvox, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.


Storage

Store at room temperature below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.


Warnings/Precautions

Before taking stromectol, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: immune system problems (e.g., HIV), breathing problems (asthma), recent foreign travel (Loa-loa endemic areas). This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. To minimize dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly when rising from a seated or lying position. This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. This medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.


Possible Side Effects

Nausea, bloating, diarrhea, headache, lightheadedness, or muscle aches may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: dizziness upon standing, fast heartbeat, chest pain, change in the appearance of the eye, eye swelling/redness, fever, joint pain, swollen or tender glands (lymph nodes), swelling in the arms/hands/feet. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing.. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
