Immune Support Cats supports proper immune response, cardiovascular function, skin health, glucose metabolism and proper nerve and brain functions.

How Taken

  • Give 0.5 ml twice daily for two weeks. Then, 0.5 ml daily.
Give suggested level twice per day for two weeks, then once per day. For best results, divide daily between AM and PM.

Drug Class and Mechanism

DMG (N,N-Dimethylglycine) can help your cat build wellness by contributing methyl groups for transmethylation. This process of transmethylation is essential for the synthesis of vitamins, hormones, enzymes and for supporting liver detoxification.

DMG is produced naturally in both humans and animals. It supports proper immune response, cardiovascular function, skin health, glucose metabolism and proper nerve and brain functions. Since DMG supports the immune system, your cat can have greater immune support and maintain good health. DMG helps the body to better utilize oxygen at the cellular level and to support respiratory function.

DMG has been recommended by thousands of veterinarians for almost three decades. It is metabolized by the liver and therefore not stored in the body.

More Information

Having immune systems compromised, most cats become infected with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) or when they are bitten while fighting with an infected cat. The virus, present in the saliva of infected cats, passes beneath the skin of the victim when he is bitten. FIV is not spread by casual contact between cats (by sharing food and water bowls or litter pans, by airborne germs or by mutual grooming) it is unusual for cats in the same household to spread the disease to each other unless they fight.

FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) is spread through contact with saliva, urine, or blood. Also, an infected mother cat can pass the virus to her kittens before they are born or through her milk while nursing.

In most cases, there is no way to know whether your cat has Immunodeficiency Viruses without a blood test. All kittens and cats should be tested to determine if they are infected, even if they show no physical signs of disease.
